ABOUT ME

​My name is Peyton Itao, I'm the owner and head chef of Chickadee’s LLC. Here at Chickadee’s we provide exquisite catering services and delectable pastries & baked goods for any occasion. My goal is simple: create meals that bring people together, spark conversation, and make every gathering feel like family. 

 

I love to be creative both in and out of the kitchen. When I'm not in the kitchen, my other hobbies include crocheting, painting, and on occasion, I enjoy playing the piano!  My family’s love language has always been through food and I can’t wait to share that love with you! 

 

I pursued my passion for the culinary arts at Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC). I learned so much throughout my time there but, my favorite class was the vegetarian & vegan week! I still dream about the Colorado-style green chili with jackfruit, and the vegan cornbread! During the last semester, I was so excited to see all my new skills come together for our final culinary showcase, and being able to foster my creativity in the kitchen spurred on my next ambition. Which was to start a business and be able to share my joy and love of cooking with others.
